SPORTS DAY
Sports day 2025 will be in June. We are hoping (weather permitting) to do sports day on Wednesday 11th June

Sports Day 2025 St Margarets Nursery & Pre-school would like to say a massive thank you to our staff for organising an amazing sports day for the preschool children. Also, a big thank you to all of our parents and carers who attended to show support for us all, it was fantastic to have you all involved again (especially in the races!).
PRE-SCHOOL GRADUATION

St Margarets Nursery & Pre-school would like to say a huge congratulations to our 2023 graduates. All the children have been an absolute pleasure to teach and care for over the last 4/5 years, we are going to miss them all! We wish all the children the best of luck transitioning into primary 1.
Each year we hold our graduation ceremonies at Craigmillar Park Church. We hold a ceremony for all the parents, carers, families and friends with refreshments after. The children enjoy a magic show by Alexander the Great.
PARENTS/CARER EVENING 2025
All parents/carers are welcome to book a 10minute time slot with their child’s keyworker. Dates to be confirmed for May 2024
HALLOWEEN 2025
Children will have the opportunity to celebrate Halloween week. Each day we will have various learning/sensory experiences for the children to choose from. The children are welcome to dress up in their favourite costumes or Halloween colours.
Every year our staff team have a fancy dress competition on Halloween. The best costumes win a prize. If you feel any of our staff have amazing costumes and you would like to vote them as a winner, please email info@stmnursery.com

Pre-school Carol Concert - Friday 19th December
Carol concert at Craigmillar Park Church with refreshments and Christmas stalls with children’s artwork
Stay and Play Sessions with Parents and Carers
Week commencing 11th December, not the Wednesday due to Christmas Party.
Christmas Party with Santa’s visit - Monday 11th December
Santa Claus visits at 10am, and Christmas festivities throughout the day.
Christmas Dinner - Thursday 14th December
Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Christmas Movie Day - Wednesday 24th December
Children will have the opportunity if they wish to watch a festive movie with homemade snacks.
